Seasoned law enforcement executive with over 35 years of experience leading major city and state policing agencies, with in-depth knowledge of border operations, policies, and practices. Governor’s cabinet member with proven ability to create effective strategic partnerships and command operations involving state and federal law enforcement agencies. Articulate visionary with solid integrity and a record of improving customer service, efficiency and accountability in government operations with realistic metrics. In 2020 he founded BIGLeadership LLC and is currently providing Public Safety coaching and consulting services.
